Police Community Advisory Board

The Police Community Advisory Board (PCAB) serves as a bridge between the Chico community and the Police Department, bringing residents and department leadership together to strengthen communication, transparency, and trust. Community policing is a core philosophy of the Chico Police Department and guides its daily operations.
Board members will work closely with Chief Billy Aldridge and department staff to collaborate on initiatives, share perspectives, address concerns, and help strengthen relationships between the Police Department and the community it serves.
Chief Aldridge explains, "My goal is to ensure our community has meaningful opportunities to be heard and to participate in areas of the department's operations. This collaboration helps build transparency, trust, and mutual respect."
Our goal is to create a PCAB which accurately represents a diverse demographic makeup of community members, groups, and business owners/representatives.
