City of Chico

City of Chico

Addressing homelessness is one of the most complex challenges facing our community. The City of Chico is committed to developing a thoughtful, sustainable, and effective approach that balances compassion, public safety, responsible use of resources, and the needs of our entire community.

As part of this effort, the City of Chico is developing an Unhoused Strategic Plan intended to provide a practical roadmap for reducing unsheltered homelessness in our community.

Your Voice Matters! Community participation will help inform the development of a strategic plan that reflects Chico's unique challenges, priorities, and opportunities. By working together, we can help shape a coordinated and sustainable approach to addressing homelessness and supporting the well-being of our entire community. We encourage all community members to get involved and be part of the conversation!

The City is providing multiple opportunities for community members to participate in the planning process. Community members are encouraged attend the Community Town Hall Meeting or Submit Comments Online.
