The RAVE Smart 911* platform is a service that sends emergency notifications to residents and businesses from public safety officials. These alerts can include:
- Evacuation notices
- Missing persons alerts
- Severe weather
- Power outages
- Police activity and updates
*RAVE Emergency Notifications replaces the former "CodeRed" program for all Butte County residents.

**NOTICE**
The City of Chico has available for public review and comment an application for Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds for fiscal year 2024-2028. The application is available at the public counter of the Chico Police Department, located at 1460 Humboldt Road, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until June 4, 2026.
