Opportunity to Serve on City of Chico Commissions
The City of Chico is seeking applicants interensted in serving on one of th eCity of Chico's Commissions. The be eligible for appoiontment, you must be a resident of the City of Chico and a qualified voter (over 18 years or older).
Persons may apply to one or more of the following Commissions: Airport Commission, Arts Commisison, Bidwell Park and Playrgounds Commission, Climate Action Commission , and Planning Commission. A summary of the Commssions can be found by clicking on the Portal Link. Standard appointments are four-year terms beginning January 2027 and expiring January 2031.
* 3 members of the Planning Commission will serve on the Artchitectural Review and Historic Preservation Board, please be sure to answer all applicapble questions on the supplemental questionaire.
